What we are

plugafrika is a South African marketplace. Vendors list what they make and sell, buyers find it in one place, and we handle the parts in between: secure payment, delivery, and the protection that makes buying from someone new reasonable.

Why it exists

Plenty of good South African products never reach the people who want them, because reaching them means building a storefront, a payment integration and a courier relationship first. We are the part a vendor would otherwise have to build alone.

How buying works

• Every vendor is verified before they can sell, and their verification status is shown on their products.
• Payment is held securely until your order is on its way, through our payment partner. Card details never touch our systems.
• Delivery is door-to-door and tracked, quoted per vendor once we know where it is going.
• Buyer protection covers you if an order does not arrive or does not match what was listed.

Selling on plugafrika

Vendors manage their own listings, stock, pricing and orders through the partner portal. If you make or distribute something, you can apply to sell.

Getting in touch

The help centre covers orders, returns, payments and delivery. Anything it does not, you can raise as a support request and we will reply by email.
