Our Information Officer under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 is Yousten Malesa, reachable on 084 035 1356, at the office number above, or at privacy@plugafrika.com. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information and how to exercise your rights.

What we do

plugafrika is an online marketplace. Independent third-party vendors list and sell their own goods to buyers, and plugafrika provides the platform, checkout, payment facilitation, delivery coordination and dispute handling. plugafrika is not the seller of the products listed, and the contract of sale is between the buyer and the vendor. This is set out in clause 1 of our Terms of Use.

Prices, payment and security

Prices are shown in South African Rand, inclusive of any applicable taxes and the delivery charge quoted at checkout, before you confirm an order. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers over an encrypted connection, and we do not store full card details on our systems.
